About NMEDA CANADA
The National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association of Canada (NMEDA) is a registered Canadian non-profit trade organization dedicated to expanding mobility options for people with disabilities. Our efforts help those in need gain the ability to drive or be transported in vehicles modified with mobility equipment. Safety of individuals with disabilities and the general public is our first and foremost goal.

As a chapter of NMEDA, our membership network includes mobility equipment dealers, manufacturers and driver rehabilitation specialists and occupational therapists located throughout Canada and the United States. Always striving to unify and improve the mobility equipment industry and its services, our organization works together within the adaptive equipment community to provide quality, safe and reliable transportation to people with disabilities.

NMEDA’s Accreditation & Accountability
While the manufacturing and adaptive processes are behind the scenes, we assure the public and our consumers that only the highest industry standards are maintained within the NMEDA Guidelines and Quality Assurance Program (QAP) rules. Adhering to these regulations ensures that all modifications provided by NMEDA members either meet or exceed the Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Standards.
