New Graduate Resource

Congratulations on your upcoming or recent graduation! As the provincial professional association, the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists (OSOT) welcomes you to the occupational therapy profession. We understand that this is a busy time - seeking employment, registering with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO), joining professional associations, ensuring your insurance coverage etc.

We’d like to take this opportunity to help guide you through the process with some information. That’s why we’ve created this New Graduate Resource: to help you be successful as you navigate your way to your first job as a registered OT! The Resource is a collection of tips and wisdom shared by your OSOT colleagues - touching on a wide variety of topics - everything we think you'll need to know to transition into the OT workforce.

OSOT also provides a wide range of member services and member-only resources that can support your transition into practice. Many of these are detailed in web content accessed from the left menu.

Congratulations… you’re on your way!
