WSIB Increases Health Professional Visit Rates Effective July 1, 2018

The Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) has announced fee increases for health professional service visit rates and acupuncture. Effective July 1, 2018 a 1.5% fee increase will be applied. This increase is equal to the Consumer Price Index (CPI), and reflects the WSIB's commitment to revise fees annually in keeping with the CPI.  The new fees will apply to those services delivered on or after July 1st.

The OT Visit Rate (clinic) will be $64.70 (based on approx. 1 hr) and the OT Home Visit Rate will be $129.40 (approx. 1 hr).  The visit rate for OTs providing acupuncture will be $42.43.
