Pace Homecare

Pace Homecare is an accredited and progressive organization that provides professional therapy services in the client’s home and community settings through contracts with Community Care Access Centres and private referrals.
We are currently recruiting Occupational Therapists to provide services within our Adult and School Health programs in the Erie St. Clair Region and London Middlesex County.
Qualifications:
- Registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
- Able to work effectively in a self-directed independent practice (self-employed) model
- Excellent organization, prioritization, problem-solving and communication abilities
- Current knowledge and skill in providing evidence-informed, client-centred assessment and intervention for adult or pediatric populations
- Preferred experience working in the home and/or school environment utilizing primarily a consultative model
- Ability to work with multiple clients, such as parents, caregivers and school staff to ensure integrated service
- Knowledge and skill in prescribing equipment to assist with mobility, ADLs and access to school curriculum (e.g. writing aids technology)
- ADP authorizer status preferred but not required
- Valid Driver's licence and access to a vehicle
