Internationally Educated OTs have access to CAOT Exam Preparation Courses

Occupational Therapists educated outside Canada and interested in practising in the province of Ontario will be required to successfully completed the national certification exam administered by the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT) amongst the requirements of the provincial regulatory body, the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO). The Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists and McMaster University have partnered in a pilot project funded by the Ontario Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration to develop preparation resources to support international graduates in their efforts to prepare for the CAOT Certification Exam. This program includes both coursework and a clinical fieldwork component. For more information about the project see www.otepp.ca.
