About our Presenters:
Dr. John Connolly is the Chief Science Officer and co-founder of VoxNeuro. He is the founding director of the ARiEAL Research Centre and the Language, Memory and Brain Lab at McMaster, an author on over 330 peer-reviewed publications, Faculty Affiliate at the Vector Institute of Artificial Intelligence, and a member of Brain Injury Canada’s Scientific Advisory Committee.
Dr. Kyle Ruiter is Vice President, Clinical & Scientific Affairs of VoxNeuro. He is responsible for ensuring the highest standard of care for patients through the strategic leadership of VoxNeuro’s clinical and scientific practices. Dr. Ruiter was awarded his Ph.D. from McMaster University’s Cognitive Science of Language Program.
Lori Desjardine is an Occupational Therapist and Owner of Pillars of Wellness, an integrated care clinic in Burlington ON. After completing her Masters in Occupational Therapy, Lori continued to focus her knowledge and treatment in the areas of Neurology, brain injury and mental health. Over the last 15 years, Lori has been focusing on evidence based research and the integration of technology to support best practice. In January 2020, Pillars of Wellness was the first clinic to become a certified assessment centre, allowing for the integration of VoxNeuro into her clinical practice. VoxNeuro has helped to advance the objective testing currently available to determine cognitive function.
