Description of Opportunity

Interior Health Occupational Therapists works independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team providing occupational therapy services and guides the work direction of Rehabilitation Assistants.

We have a Permanent Part Time opening at Arrow Lakes Hospital in Nakusp, B.C. Days of work are Tuesday to Friday from 08:00 to 16:00

What Will You Work On?

This position includes acute, Long Term Care and community in three communities. New Denver, Nakusp and Kaslo.

This position will build independence and improve quality of life for clients. You will be given the opportunity to work with multiple interdisciplinary teams and build your skill set.

The successful applicant will be able to work to their full scope in all areas of care (as above). Educational opportunities will be set up if required and there will be opportunities for the successful applicant to take on leadership projects, change management and transition to leadership positions.

We are looking for an Occupational Therapist that has the desire to work to their full scope, enjoys working in multiple areas, has excellent time management and problem solving skills.


Qualifications


Education, Training and Experience:

• Graduation from a recognized occupational therapy program.
• Current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia (COTBC).
• Valid BC Driver’s license.
