Job Title:  Occupational Therapists (Full and Part-time)

Essential Job Duties/Tasks:

• Provide in-home OT assessments and treatment related to individuals suffering from functional impairments and disabilities
• Willing to work in the GTA as well as possible travel to Ottawa, Sudbury and Windsor as needed
• Complete assessment reports on in-home visits with astute attention to details
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational days; training sessions and establishing personal networks
• Use of home computer and internet

 Education / Experience / Certificates Required: 

• Masters Degree or recognized equivalent in Occupational Therapy
• Registered and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
• Valid Driver’s License, proof of auto insurance and consistent access to a vehicle
• Strong aptitude for report writing with exceptional attention to detail
• Experience conducting in-home functional and attendant care assessments
• Enjoys collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
• Education and experience specific to the client population is an asset (e.g., ABI, SCI, orthopaedics, neurology)
• ADP authorization is an asset
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with different personalities
• Excellent judgement and critical thinking when making decisions
