A Holistic Functional Approach to Assessment
This webinar will outline how OTs are uniquely positioned to use a holistic functional approach when working with children and youth with mental health needs. This approach focuses on participation in daily activities and quality of lived experience as a path to well-being.

About Our Presenters:
Ashley is a private practice OT who has been working with children and families for most of her 23 year career. She prides herself in being able to work closely with children and their caregivers to individualize and customize assessment and treatment plans that are holistic and work to improve a child's daily functioning in all environments.
Liz has 19 years experience in paediatric therapy with a growing interest in how mental health issues are intertwined with presenting functional challenges. She has presented on this topic for school boards, community agencies, and conferences and has initiated programs to address these skills in young children in her current position at an Ontario Children's Treatment Centre.
