About Our Presenter:
Parvin Eftekhar completed their PhD on the impact of BoNTA (i.e. BOTOX) on upper limb function after stroke at the University of Toronto. During their post-doctoral fellowship, Parvin focused on conducting a randomizing controlled trial on aging population and outdoor activities. This study was multi-site at the national level (Toronto, Montreal, Edmonton, and Winnipeg) and focused on the effect of outdoor walking on balance, health and frailty. Currently, Parvin is a member of interdisciplinary teams at the Spasticity Management Clinic and Peripheral Nerve Transfer clinic.
