Opioid use disorder in primary care
The conference will focus on practice approaches and public health policies to address opioid use disorder and the crisis in opioid-related overdoses (poisonings) and deaths.
Topics will include public health and treatment approaches, harm reduction strategies, clinical guidelines and new evidence in the field of opioid use disorder, and the experiences of people using opioids during the COVID-19 pandemic.
CAMH will organize this conference in collaboration with the Collaboratory for Research and Innovation, part of the Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum Research Institute, Sinai Health System. The conference will be supported by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care.
