Effective Report Writing for Healthcare Professionals

Effective Report Writing focuses on developing an effective process of writing health care reports in order to increase professional credibility and persuade the reader to follow recommendations. Learners will begin with planning their report, then explore how to write with clarity, develop an appropriate style, and eliminate bias. The final module provides an opportunity to develop a healthcare report template appropriate for different disciplines.
Skilled writers can produce more effective documents in less time and develop stronger relationships with clients and colleagues. Well written reports are also more persuasive, which means key stakeholders will support your recommendations. This course is designed for all health care professionals, who write reports in hospital settings, clinic settings, and community environments.
Approved for 5.0 (2.5 Ethics) CEU credits for CLCP/CCLCP and MSCC. This course is self-directed. The learner will complete the modules independently online.
