The landscape of home and community care has been viewed through a much different lens in the last year, with the impacts of COVID-19 showing us vulnerable regions and which areas need more focus. Health care professionals have seen an increase in inequality and how social determinates affect health care. This conference will examine resources that allow home and community care to thrive. We will discuss new ways in which communities take care of each other, how we keep acute care in hospitals, and what support is needed and necessary for those changes to be sustainable.
Who Is This Conference For? Administrators from organizations providing care in home and community settings and all other industry professionals with an interest in advancing home and community care services in Canada.
The conference tackles important topics such as emerging trends and meeting future challenges of the industry post COVID; aging in place; community coordination and engagement; community paramedicine, addiction and mental health amongst others. Network virtually with speakers and peers, discuss the biggest topics surrounding home and community care, and join us for a quiz-based networking event with a chance to win prizes.
