NEW!  Member Practice Resource - Land and Territorial Acknowledgements

Land acknowledgements are a way that people insert an awareness of Indigenous presence and land rights in everyday life. An act of reconciliation, this is often done at the beginning of meetings or gatherings and can be an initial step to recognize the history of colonialism and first nations as well as a need for change in settler-colonial societies.

OSOT's new practice resource encourages members to think about meaningful acknowledgements, providing tips, samples, and links to find the Indigenous Peoples and territories on which you live and work.
