Share Your Story | Celebrating Black History Month

February is Black History Month! We encourage members to reflect on the achievements and resilience of Black occupational therapists and occupational therapist assistants, as well as the diverse communities we serve. Fostering inclusivity strengthens our profession and benefits us all. We wish to celebrate the contributions of our members by amplifying diverse voices in the profession. If you have a story, photograph, or resource to share, we’d love to hear from you - please email Kevin Baijnauth at kbaijnauth@osot.on.ca

To start us off, the Black Healthcare Professionals Network Directory, is a resource that connects clients and colleagues with Black healthcare professionals across Canada. Those who self-identify as Black can join for free to be featured in the directory and gain access to networking events, updates, and other professional opportunities. We also invite you to visit Canadian Heritage for more information and resources.
