This Hybrid Mental Health Conference is tailored to improve your capacity to deliver culturally safe and supportive care to Black youth patients experiencing mental health issues. This conference is tailored to benefit a diverse range of healthcare professionals, including but not limited to Family Doctors, Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Social Workers, and Nurse Practitioners.
The training will concentrate on providing participants with specialized strategies for handling a substantial number of Black youth patients facing mental health difficulties or psychosis.
The University of Toronto's Continuing Professional Development has awarded the Black Physicians Association of Ontario Mental Health CPD with the following credits: Royal College Maintenance of Certification Section 1: 5.5 hours
