Almost one half of Ontario OTs are employed in the hospital sector. The areas of care range from acute care to inpatient rehabilitation and continuing care units to Ambulatory Centres, Day Programs and Specialty Clinics.

Current Issues


OSOT continues to monitor and be actively involved in both the advocacy and translation of issues which involve the practice of OT. 
  • The Ontario Hospital Association is the voice and representative for Ontario hospitals. The OHA provides frequent updates and reports on current issues in the hospital sector.
