Mentorship Program

Do you have questions about a specific area of practice you are interested in? Have you started a job, or new role and are finding yourself with a lot of questions? Would the knowledge of an experienced OT be helpful?

OSOT believes that peer support is an important and wonderful part of building and being part of an OT community and we think new graduates would especially find mentorship support beneficial as they make the leap from student to clinician. Many OSOT members, from across the province and across practice sectors have offered to be mentors. If you are interested in engaging in a mentoring partnership, simply click onto the link below and enter your search criteria. You will then be provided with the names of OT colleagues who meet your criteria and have agreed to be contacted to provide support. When reaching out to these colleagues be sure to let you them know you received their contact information from the OSOT website and let them know what your expectations for support are to ensure they are available to meet your needs at this time. Contact the OSOT office should you have trouble finding a connection.
