About OSOT
The Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists (OSOT) is the provincial professional association of occupational therapists and student occupational therapists. With focus in the areas of Member Services, Government Relations, Professional Promotion, Professional Development and Practice Support, the Society serves and represents the interests of members in Ontario.
OSOT currently has 4,600+ members including occupational therapists, student occupational therapists and others who seek to associate with the profession. From its early roots in 1921, as the first occupational therapy organization in Canada, OSOT has provided leadership to the growing profession throughout its history.
The Society is committed to operating with an inclusive lens and to continuing to learn how to better meet the diverse needs of our membership. The strategic plans, goals and objectives are directed to ensure advocacy and representation effectively position the profession of occupational therapy in Ontario's evolving health system, ensuring that OSOT is leading by providing vision, voice, visibility and value for Ontario occupational therapists!
