We established the first 360 Concussion Care clinic in September 2020 in Ottawa, and we expanded to clinic sites in Toronto in spring 2021 and Mississauga in October 2022. 

About the role: 
360 Concussion Care is seeking a skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our Toronto team at 40 Holly Street.

This is a part-time independent contractor position for part-time with a potential to grow into more hours, ideal for a clinician looking to develop or apply their expertise within a specialized concussion care setting.

You will work with a diverse caseload of patients (children and adults) experiencing concussion and post-concussion symptoms, collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary team of physicians, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and psychologists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized, evidence-based assessment and treatment for patients recovering from concussion and PCS
  • Integrate Occupational Therapy approaches to support recovery
  • Develop and deliver education and symptom management strategies for patients
  • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare providers
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training in concussion rehabilitation
  • Opportunity to contribute to leading-edge research (optional)

Qualifications:

  • Registration in good standing with College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO)
  • Experience treating clients with concussion/post-concussion syndrome OR a strong interest in developing skills in this area
  • Knowledge of concussion rehabilitation resources and education materials is an asset
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and patient education skills
  • Collaborative and team-oriented mindset
