Progressive Steps Training & Consultation Inc. provides home-based, community-based and centre-based ABA services to individuals 6 and up in Durham Region, East Toronto, and York Region.

Mission of this Role                                                                                                                                                      

As an Occupational Therapist at Progressive Steps Training & Consultation Inc., your mission is to deliver high-quality, neurodiversity-affirming occupational therapy services to children, adolescents, and adults with diverse developmental, sensory, and functional needs.

You will assess functional skills, develop meaningful and individualized treatment plans, provide evidence-based interventions, and collaborate closely with families and multidisciplinary team members.

Your work will enhance each individual’s independence, participation, safety, and well-being across home, school, and community environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct OT assessments
• Provide therapy to children, youth and adults with developmental disabilities
• Develop treatment plans
• Collaborate with teams including other professionals
• Documentation

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
• COTO registration
• Experience with paediatrics and developmental disabilities preferred
