Rehab First Inc. is currently seeking a Registered Occupational Therapist to join our team across various regions in Ontario to support our growing client base through community-based service delivery. This posting is for an existing vacancy.

Rehab First is one of Ontario's largest multidisciplinary assessment and treatment organizations, with a growing team of approximately 120 professionals specializing in a variety of disciplines. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct general and specialized assessments (physical, cognitive, mobility, and attendant care)
  • Develop and implement individualized, client-centered treatment plans
  • Provide services in a variety of locations including but not limited to: client homes, workplaces, and community settings
  • Prepare and submit timely case notes and written reports
  • Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Qualifications:

  • Master's in Occupational Theory or related discipline
  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO) - or eligible for registration (new grad)
  • Experience in a healthcare setting; community experience preferred
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation (Health Care Consent Act, Mental Health Act)
  • Ability to manage a varied case load independently
  • Valid CPR certification
  • Valid G driver's license, auto insurance, and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Satisfactory Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening (dated within the last 6 months prior to hire date)
  • Superior communication, problem-solving, time-management and documentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
