Description of Opportunity

We are currently seeking compassionate, client-centered Occupational Therapists to join our growing community rehabilitation team serving clients throughout the Greater Hamilton and Niagara Regions.

Summary
As a Community Occupational Therapist, you will work closely with clients in their homes and communities to support independence, safety, participation, and quality of life.

You will have the opportunity to develop individualized treatment plans, recommend assistive devices and home modifications, and collaborate with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to help clients achieve their goals.

Salary: CA$130,000.00-CA$170,000.00 per year. $5000 signing bonus

This role offers a high degree of autonomy while ensuring you remain connected to a supportive clinical team.
Responsibilities

  • Complete occupational therapy assessments in home and community settings
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Support clients in achieving meaningful functional goals
  • Recommend and coordinate assistive devices, adaptive equipment, and home modifications
  • Collaborate with clients, caregivers, family members, and healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Promote client safety, independence, and quality of life

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Registration in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO)
  • Minimum two (2) years of clinical experience preferred
  • Community rehabilitation experience is considered an asset
  • ADP Authorizer status is considered an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities
  • Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
