Webinar participants will learn about practical occupational therapy assessment and intervention strategies for patients experiencing delirium in the hospital setting. 

By the end of this webinar you will:

  • Be able to identify occupational therapy assessment strategies to use with patients experiencing (or are suspected to have) a diagnosis of delirium.
  • Review occupational therapy strategies for treatment of delirium in the hospital setting and implications for discharge planning.
  • Understand key aspects to highlight during inter-disciplinary rounds.

Presenter:

Katie Harder (she/her), OT Reg. (Ont.)
has been an occupational therapist at Grand River Hospital since 2011 and is currently the Professional Practice Lead for occupational therapy. She has learned that being innovative and finding ways to meet patient needs in challenging clinical situations is one of the best parts of being an occupational therapist.
