This newly revised workshop will help participants have the skills to manage stay at work and return to work for employees with mental distress or mental illness. Understanding the causes and treatments for common mental health conditions How to discern the difference between mental health issues and performance issues How to know when someone needs to be off work or when they can stay at work while getting treatment What are the best practices for managers to manage employees with mental distress Intensive case discussion and implementation strategies (participants can submit their own complex case examples for review) Developing, implementing and monitoring the RTW process Identification of complex barriers Using cognitive demands analysis in return to work What are the strategies that work and how to build those into SAW/RTW plans Writing and implementing sustainable RTW plans Identification of the resources and when to use the right resources at the right time
