Presenter(s)
Ellen Yack, M.Ed., B.Sc. OT., OT Reg. (Ont.) & Jessica Faith, B.Sc. OT., OT Reg. (Ont.)
Parents and educators are increasingly identifying children who present with self-regulation and social thinking challenges. By using a holistic lens, occupational therapists are well positioned to assess and improve the functioning of individuals who are challenged by their difficulty with arousal regulation and social interaction. This workshop will explore the impact of self-regulation and social thinking on various aspects of daily functioning and how these two skills correlate with one another.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
