Mirella Deisher, OTD, MS, OTR/L, CHT has been an occupational therapist since 1998 that has worked in upper limb and hand therapy since 2000. She has been a certified hand therapist since 2003. In 2009, she obtained her post-professional doctoral degree with an emphasis in hand therapy. Mirella has developed clinical hand therapy fellowships from 2012 to 2018. In 2020, she founded the Virtual Hand to Shoulder Fellowship to increase access to a comprehensive didactic curriculum, mentorship, and professional development in hand therapy with the mission of educating the generalist to the specialist.
