Please join me in learning about "the work I have done to create an Indigenous bereavement group in KW, as well as work with other grief circles in the region.
Then I will relate some traditional teachings about life and death on the medicine wheel, and how I was taught to honour myself in grief and to especially honour those loved ones who have passed. I will identify that Indigenous peoples carry different forms of grief and loss and how we can tend to those through our traditional ways, our ceremonies and every day living. ~ Mary Anne Caibaiosai
