About the Survey:
Researchers at McMaster’s School of Rehabilitation Science developed this survey to gather information about social equity in health care, with a key focus on understanding the diversity of rehab professions. This survey has been distributed provincially and nationally with 808 physiotherapists and 3,143 chiropractors responding.
Dr. Noora (Nora) Bakaa (Chiro, PhD Candidate) and, her PhD supervisor, Dr. Luciana Macedo (Associate Professor) are the lead developers of the survey. In collaboration with Dr. Brenda Vrkljan (Occupational Therapy, Professor) OSOT is distributing the survey to our members. This opportunity allows for the gathering and analysis of data from not only members, but also to compare results across jurisdictions and between rehab professions.
Please note: CAOT has also distributed this survey. If you have already participated, thank you for your input and there is no need to complete the survey again.
