News Release: Ontario Connecting Over 300,000 People to Primary Care Teams 

The Ontario government has announced a $110 million investment to connect 328,000 individuals with primary care teams. This investment aims to ensure that everyone in Ontario has access to primary care. $90 million will be utilized to add over 400 new primary care providers to 78 new and expanded interprofessional primary care teams and $20 million will be used to provide a boost to all existing interprofessional primary care teams, enabling them to meet increased operational costs for their facilities and supplies.
