This webinar will explore the prevalence of adult ADHD post-pandemic and the unique role of occupational therapy in assessment and treatment of this population. You will learn about tools for the assessment of ADHD symptoms, treatment of ADHD, and resources. The presenter will also share information about the use of nature and mindfulness techniques in treating adults with ADHD. 

By the end of this webinar you will:

  • Understand the complexity of the ADHD diagnosis and the symptoms associated with it.
  • Identify assessment tools for use in the adult ADHD population.
  • Gain new knowledge on the benefits of mindfulness and nature-based practice for persons presenting with ADHD.


About Our Presenter:

Alanna Davis (she/her), OT Reg. (Ont.)
is an occupational therapist with over 15 years of experience working in acute care, rehabilitation, and leadership. Alanna launched Davis Occupational Therapy in 2019, offering Vocational Rehabilitation services. The Larchwood Nature OT program was later developed in 2020 and has evolved considerably as a result of the pandemic. Taking the clinic outdoors and offering OT in a natural setting boasts a number of added health benefits. Alanna's journey began with paediatrics and is now moving into the development of adult programs that also leverage nature and its well documented benefits.
