Preschool children are often disciplined for exhibiting disruptive behaviour when in fact, they should be learning emotion regulation skills. This webinar will review the dysregulated brain and which tools we can offer children to help with their emotions and behaviour.

By the end of this webinar you will:

  • Understand the dysregulated brain.
  • Understand what contributes to a dysregulated brain.
  • Gain tools you can offer children when they are dysregulated.


About Our Presenter:

Cindy Hovington
(she/her), PhD is a mom of 3 with a doctorate degree in neuroscience. She is the founder of Curious Neuron, an online resource focused on helping people understand their child’s emotions and their own. She is also the co-founder of Wondergrade, an app that helps children ages 3-8 cope with big emotions. She translates the science of emotion regulation for over 160,000 parents every month and is the host of one of Canada’s top parenting podcasts called Curious Neuron.
