Presenters:
Angela Brown
is the Facilitator of Training & Enrichment at DeafBlind Ontario Services. Angela is involved in the development and delivery of DeafBlind Ontario Services’ internal training including the TOUCH™ Inspire program—a specialized training initiative for intervenors. She also provides training on sensory loss and communication strategies to external support agencies. Angela is a Certified DeafBlind Intervenor Specialist. Her professional background includes experience in a variety of support services and as a registered paediatric nurse in the UK. 

Theresa Merrifield
is a Facilitator of Community Services at DeafBlind Ontario Services. In her role, Theresa collaborates with community organizations who support people that are deafblind, offering mentoring and specialized training to meet their dual sensory loss and communication needs. Theresa is a Certified DeafBlind Intervenor Specialist. Her professional background includes a Developmental Services Worker diploma and working in the Intervenor Services field for 24 years.
