Presenter:
Ruth Duggan MScOT Reg NS (she/her), Cornerstone Occupational Therapy Consultantsis an occupational therapist and educator with over 35 years of experience in a variety of rehabilitation settings. She is the founder of Ruth Duggan Occupational Therapy Inc. and a partner with Cornerstone Occupational Therapy Consultants. Ruth currently provides education programs, and digital tools designed to support evidence-informed practice and professional growth. Her work focuses on helping health and vocational professionals strengthen their practice through practical tools, critical thinking, and reflective learning. Ruth developed the Reflective Practice for Professionals program to provide a structured approach to integrating reflection into daily work activities, supporting ongoing learning and alignment with professional practice standards. Reflective practice encourages professionals to examine experiences, question assumptions, and translate learning into improved practice over time. Ruth regularly presents webinars and workshops for health and vocational professionals across Canada on reflective practice, vocational assessment, and professional development.
