Presented through the Mood Walks program at the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) Mood Walks program, this webinar will share insights, strategies, and inspiration to help you integrate walking into daily life and community programming. Whether you’re a service provider, community leader, or simply someone passionate about promoting wellness, this webinar will highlight how walking can be a simple, inclusive, and effective way to support well-being. You’ll also learn about partnership opportunities through Mood Walks, including how organizations across Ontario are collaborating to bring walking-based mental health programs to their communities. Join us to connect with like-minded professionals, explore partnership possibilities, and discover how you can get involved in expanding the reach of Mood Walks.
By the end of this webinar you will:

Presenter:
Jennifer Cooke is a dedicated child and youth care practitioner with more than 25 years of experience supporting young people through non-profit and charitable organizations across the Greater Toronto Area. Her career has spanned roles in day treatment programs, school-based supports, youth justice, and mental health and addictions services, with a strong focus on developing community-based mental health and addiction initiatives. She currently serves as the Provincial Program Coordinator for the Canadian Mental Health Association, Ontario Division, where she manages Mood Walks, a provincial program that promote mental wellness through nature-based activities and practical life skills. For the past two years, Jennifer has served as Secretary-Treasurer on the Board of Resources for Children and Youth in Durham Region and has been an active member of the School Community Council in Pickering for more than 12 years.
