OSOT - An Overview of Dementia and Supportive Communication

With the population aging, and dementia cases on the rise, it is important for healthcare providers to understand dementia and to implement effective communication strategies with their patients/clients. This webinar will provide an overview of dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, with a focus on understanding the symptoms and cognitive changes a person may experience. It will also discuss practical strategies to support someone living with dementia. Lastly, programs and services through the Alzheimer Society of Toronto will be shared.
