As the first of several webinars in this educational series, this webinar is dedicated to launching OSOT’s newly designed website named En-AGE (Enabling Ageing, Growth and Engagement). En-AGE (www.en-age.ca) is a knowledge portal designed to increase public awareness about the ways that occupational therapists can support older adults as they navigate challenges related to later life course transitions.
This webinar will provide an overview of the website, clarify terminology, identify common life course transitions in older age, and position occupational therapists as leaders in seniors’ care. Attendees will learn how to locate resources to inform their practice, and how the website can be offered as a tool for clients and caregivers. Subsequent webinars will delve into specific life course transitions and concepts introduced during this session.
12pm-1pm. Complimentary for OSOT members.
