In this webinar, the presenter will review the OT role on each of the CAT criteria and will discuss the principles of completing an OT Catastrophic assessment.

Session Topics:

  • Review CAT Criteria as of June 1, 2016
  • Identify pre-requirements before the CAT application
  • Identify red flags for CAT Application for treating and assessing OTs
  • Review the role of the OT in assessing on each criterion
  • Discuss principles OTs have to keep in mind when assessing for CAT
  • Review important case laws in which OTs provided significant evidence


About our Presenter:

Galit Liffshiz
is an OT, a certified life care planner and a designated capacity assessor. She is the president of GLA Rehab Inc., a community rehabilitation company, servicing MVA clients. She has been qualified and accepted as an expert witness in the courts of Ontario as an Occupational Therapist, CAT assessor and a Life Care Planner.

Credits:
Approval has been received for 2.0 (1.0 Ethics) CEU credits for CLCP/CCLCP.
