Child and Youth Mental Health: Interventions

Through the use of case studies, possible intervention considerations will be explored.  Participants will learn about interventions aimed at the person, environment, and occupations when working in child and youth mental health.

About Our Presenters:

Sabrina has been an Occupational Therapist working in paediatric mental health for 2.5 years. Previous experience working as a classroom teacher has become an asset in her clinical work. Since working in paediatric mental health, Sabrina has become interested in advocacy and highlighting the role that occupational therapy can have in paediatric mental health. .

Nicole has been working with pediatric clients and their families since graduating from Queen's University's Occupational Therapy program in 1995.  She has provided assessment and treatment services in school-based, inpatient, community-based and private clinic settings.  For the last 10 years Nicole has focused much of her continuing education on child and youth mental health. 

Fees: (All fees are plus HST)

Members: $50

Student Members: $30

Non Member: $75

Refund Policy: Refunds will be given provided that a request is received by the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists no less than 10 business days prior to the event. Refunds will be given in full less a $10.00 administrative charge.
