This webinar aims to discuss the clinical foundations, processes and rationale behind residential rehabilitation programs for clients recovering from traumatic brain injury. Attendees will gain greater understanding into the comprehensive and holistic assessments and treatment approaches that take place within this unique practice setting, where every waking hour is an opportunity for structured and supported rehabilitation.

Session Topics:

  • What a residential rehabilitation program is.
  • What assessments are done in this context and how it differs from other practice settings.
  • What intervention looks like in a residential setting.
  • The costs associated to support Life Care Plans.


About our Presenters:

Colleen Boyce
is a Certified Life Care Planner, working at Bayshore NRIO for 25 years. Colleen received the OBIA Healthcare Provider of the Year award, 2020 for her contributions to the industry and giving back to the community. Colleen is dedicated, committed and passionate about helping people who have sustained a TBI.

Jessica Stengel is an occupational therapist working at Bayshore NRIO. Jessica has experience working in inpatient, residential, and outpatient settings to support clients recovering from traumatic brain injuries. Jessica finds passion supporting clients to realize their goals, maximize their functional potential, and return to doing the things they love.
