We invite you to attend our 9th Annual CME Course which has been designed to provide primary care providers with the latest practical and evidence-based knowledge for delivering geriatric care. Our CME course has been accredited by the College of Family Physicians of Canada for up to 5.0 Mainpro+ credits. This year's edition is titled "Providing Excellent Care for Older Persons During the Pandemic and Beyond" and will take place on Friday November 5th, from 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM EST.
This accredited course is a joint effort by Sinai Health and University Health Network’s Division of General Internal Medicine and Geriatrics, to provide accessible and quality education for health, social and community care professionals and advocates across the GTA and beyond. Our one day course will feature four interactive lectures in the morning, followed by concurrent breakout sessions in the afternoon. The sessions and workshops will include: Top 10 Articles of 2021, Caring for Older Indigenous Adults, Geriatrics Diabetes Update, Managing Complex Dementia as well as Polypharmacy Scenarios and more!
