Opportunity for Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese) Speaking OTs with Fall Prevention Experience 

The Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care is implementing a Project called: “Age Well at Home: Bridging the Service Gap”, to support seniors to age in place, safely at home. The project is funded by Employment and Social Development Canada and includes a system navigation, fall prevention and home maintenance component. 


Occupational therapists with experience in fall prevention are invited to participate if they are able to:

  • Communicate in Chinese (Mandarin/ Cantonese)
  • Deliver one hour fall prevention presentations – either in-person / virtually / hybrid; approximately once a month 
  • Provide in-home fall risk assessments and consultations to seniors in the GTA - 1-3 times per month
